Murray's bagels are made the old fashioned way--hand rolled, kettle boiled and baked!
We purchase our fish daily from NY's finest smoked fish houses.
Served with cole slaw and pickle.
The selection below includes your choice of three house-made cream cheeses and also indclues, beefsteak tomatoes, cucumbers and Bermuda onions.
There's more to Murray’s bagels than a crispy outside, a fresh, chewy inside and a tasty, tangy schmear. And no, that doesn’t just refer to a smooth slice of Nova (although they only serve the freshest available)!
Murray’s is different because Murray’s has got soul. Murray's Bagels Chelsea isn't just another bagel shop—it's a family vision.
Proprietor Matt Pomerantz always wanted to bring a piece of his old-fashioned, Brooklyn heritage to Manhattan, and he succeeded with Murray's Bagels, named after his father.
Every one of Murray’s bagels is made the old-fashioned way: hand-rolled, kettle-boiled and baked to perfection on the premises. And THEY DON’T TOAST. Why not? Because a truly fresh bagel doesn't need toasting to make it more delicious. Why make a fresh bagel that's crispy on the outside crispy on the inside?
Visit Murray’s soon and they’ll be happy to see you.

Very disappointed today. NY is part time residence, but always look forward to having Murray's when in town. Got two bagels sandwiches and paid extra for onions and tomatoes. They have definitely cut back on the amount of nova on the sandwich and for the extra charge for onions I got 1 1/2 strands of a slice. Yes, not even a slice, only a strand!! I will start ordering from Sarges from now on!! I might pay more but at least I get more for the $$$$

Always a go to for the morning hangover. Ice coffee usually turns into coffee in a bag though upon delivery.

The breakfast sandwiches are TDF and the delivery is quite fast!! Also, the fresh OJ is highly recommended.

Murray's, once again, was unable to provide competent delivery service. They delivered my order to the wrong address and then took no measures to fix their mistake.

Delivery is kinda slow some times .. Love the scallion, strawberry cream chews. Once they gave me a very flat looking bagel :(

Took 2 hours to arrive. :-(

I love Murray's food, however I was very disappointed in their delivery. It took them over an hour and a half (and a reminder phone call) to deliver a simple sandwich. Not sure I will be ordering online from them again.

Food is pretty great! But delivery takes a long time and orders were mixed up

Bagels are simply amazing, a great address, definitely among the best bagels in the city

A bagel store only need to do one thing to be great and that's make bagels better than anyone else. Murray's does that and more! They not only have exceptional bagels, they also have the highest quality cream cheeses and my personal favorite, lox. Highly recommended for breakfast and lunch!

I ordered the Leo bagel on Tuesday specifically with no egg and received a delicious bagel as I asked with *cream cheese* on the side and sliced smoked salmon with raw onions.
I ordered the Leo bagel today with egg whites and received NO cream cheese like I had asked for over the phone and tiny chunks of salmon. Even if that is how the sandwich is made, it is not consistent with how they made it on Tuesday and that is a problem with your cook. Not to mention last time, I waited 1 HOUR and a HALF for my coworker/my bagel order.
I am not satisfied at all with Murray's inconsistency and overpriced food. I could at least gotten some cream cheese paying $10 for a measly sandwich of egg whites and BITS of salmon.
Thanks a lot.

The pastrami....Oh the pastrami!!!!! WOWZA Yum! very good price, high quality and a huge amount. Also, the Iced Chai tea is really tasty. Nice chewy, crunchy yet soft Marble Rye bagel fresh out of the oven! Friendly staff.

Delicious! They have great bagels and spreads. There was a slight snafu with my order, but they rectified it immediately. I would definitely order from here again.

Unless you want your food over 2 hours late, don't order from this place. Still waiting for my food. This place has ridiculously horrible service.

If you want to wait 2 hours for a bagel, this is your place. Pathetic service

Placed an order for 12pm, food showed up at 10:50am. I ordered it toasted, it was not. The order clearly stated what floor I was on, yet my phone rings and I have a guy yelling at me, what floor...what floor....didn't even say where he was from or who he was. Won't be ordering from them again.

I used to live this location, but recently there is always something wrong. Last time, the baked salmon salad was dry and there was barely any on the sandwich. This time and a few other times they have me the wrong bagel.
Posted 10 months ago by Iya B.
The food is good. The service especially delivery time is terrible. 2 hours to deliver a bagel.
Called in to check, a NICE GIRL response was,"You know your not the only one ordering."
Don't order from this place, management should work on delivery team, and customer service relationship. Good luck!

It took nearly 2 hours for them to deliver chicken noodle soup and a bagel. So disappointing. I'm not probably ordering from Murray's again. This level of service isn't acceptable and there are plenty of other places that actually try.

I am not one to write reviews, but this place is ridiculous. 2 out of the 4 time I have ordered the order has been wrong. It took almost 2 hours for me to get my food. The first time they delivered me the wrong order and it took them another hour to deliver me the correct order. This time around, i didnt get part of my order and they had given me the wrong bagel. Also took about 2 hours to get my food. What was supposed to be breakfast turned into lunch. I think the best bet for this place is not to order on seamless and go order and pick up at the location.

2 hours. I order from Murray's every week. Their estimated deliver time is usu. posted as 55 - 70 mins. That's a long time. However, I usually wait closer to 1hr 45mins or 2 hours on a typical day. Although, Murray's has quality bagels. Their delivery times are inaccurate, and their inability to manage outgoing deliveries in a reasonable timeframe is ridiculous. 2 HOURS for a deliver that is Murray's is only two avenues away. You want Murray's? Go in-person ONLY.

Terrible service- over 1 1/2 hours for delivery. I called twice and was told that they were down a chef- sorry, but you don't need a chef for two bagels with tuna salad. Completely unacceptable- and they don't toast, which is just ridiculous.

I'm giving this one star because of how absolutely appalling the customer service was. I order Murrays constantly, I live around the corner, and waited several hours and THREE different delivery attempts for incorrect orders. I had guests in from out of town and our entire afternoon was ruined because of not only the fact that we never got our order correctly but we were screamed at over the phone and verbally harassed. I absolutely love the food but the service was so bad I will never order again. My friend was so shocked at the service that she felt the need to CREATE A YELP ACCOUNT to share the experience.

Murray's is worth the wait. Best Tuna in the City

You may not like they don't toast the bagels but the quality nearly cancels that out. My favorite is the spinach bagel - not exactly what you think. On top of that, if you order a cheese bagel sandwich be prepared for a big ol' stack of cheese(s) that will make you look eating this ridiculous.

Takes far too long to deliver and my iced coffee is filled with coffee grounds. I like the breakfast meat options. Will continue order from here, but very sparingly.

Murrays is excellent and has a wide variety of delicious options. The bagels, soups, sandwiches, knishes, cookies and more are great. I got at least once a week.

Mediocre bagel, forgot cole slaw and pickle...

The most horrible customer service I ever experienced! I wish I could give them zero stars. They forgot items in my order and the food they did include was incorrect. The manager hung up on me several times when I requested a refund for the missing items. Do not order from here! They do not value their customers.

I love this place in the mornings. I usually swing by to get breakfast before work.
Unfortunately i ordered at 130 and it took 2 hours to deliver my full order.
The first delivery was lacking the main part of the sandwich (fish- this was
wrong because i only wanted the tomato and onion on the side but they gave me everything separate) and no
cream cheese. Which ok, I get why it was confused. Didn't complain. I like this place and the came within 45 minutes instead of the 70 minutes quoted on the confirmation.
They came back the second time rather quickly since i am not that far away with the wrong cream cheese and a juice I
didn't order. I called again and the gentleman was very nice about it an would bring me the fish the main of the sandwich.
I called to cancel my order but it already went out and the gentleman that answered this time was very rude.
I received everything at 330. my $9 fish was SO small. It doesn't fit on my bagel.
This is ridiculous.
I like this place a lot but I will never order delivery from here again. I'd rather walk the 7-8 minutes to get it myself.

Dont believe the hype..terrible bagels, slow service, and worlds worse coffee. The corner deli has better bagels that are cheaper. Will never order from here.

Got their pastrami, which they prominently feature in-store as made in-house and worth the order. Ack. Dry, chewy, and cut thicker than a porterhouse. They also sent a regular Dr Brown's Black Cherry instead of the Diet I ordered. And their bagels are so sacred they refuse to toast them?

Two hours passed and our bagels (2) never arrived. We've eaten at various Murray's bagel shops in NYC several times and the bagels are always sub-par when compared to Brooklyn Bagels. The employees are usually rude and unhelpful.

Food is great, only 3 stars because the delivery here is a disaster. I live 4 blocks away and have never had a delivery come in LESS than 1.5 hours. These guys ought to get their act together or just get off of seamless because they clearly do not have the staff to support this business. Will not be ordering here anytime soon.

There are no better bagels in the world than Murray's...it's a problem for my waistline how dangerously close this place is from my apartment! Best piece of advice, place your order ahead of time...the line can be really long!

food is good, what you expect... but if you say a delivery will take 25-40 minutes and it takes over an hour and twenty, I expect some sort of refund. Get your act together, this is New York.

Holy Moley. I've been looking for you, Murray's Bagels. First, the bagel selection is awesome. I can't always find the garlic bagels I love, but they had them and they were fresh and huge. The eggs were cooked perfectly. My favorite thing, (and clearly from other reviews this doesn't always happen), the wait was given as 55-70 minutes, which really bummed me out for a breakfast delivery, but it arrived in 20 minutes! I was pretty happy and this is delicious. I can't speak for "always"... but this time they got everything just right. Plus? Talk about quality materials! Even the bag it came in was nice!

Ordered here on a Sunday morning at 10am. The wait time was 30-55 minutes online but in reality was almost double---the bagels showed up around 1140 am. Already unimpressed part of the order was wrong. It was a pretty good bagel but not worth the wait.

I love the food when it's delivered properly, but I've ordered from here regularly and more often than not, they replace items in my order without calling to confirm that this is ok. I often get the wrong beverage or food item. It would be nice if they would call to confirm this as many restaurants do.

Mediocre bagels. Didn't toast upon request. Long wait for delivery.

Get off your high horse and purchase a toaster. Seriously. Some people like their bagels toasted with cream cheese.

will never order from there again. it took 2.5 HOURS for a bagel with cream cheese and an orange juice to be delivered 3 blocks.
